MFL Pipescan

Pipescan is an easy to use, cost effective, portable, magnetic flux leakage (MFL) inspection system for the detection of random internal corrosion in pipe runs. The latest magnetic material coupled with unique mechanical designs enables coverage of all pipe diameters from 50mm to 2.4m with a limited number of scanning heads.

Unlike some inspection methods, MFL is not affected by product flow through the pipe runs so surveys can be carried out both on-line and off-line. Use Pipescan, with its high probability of detection, to locate actual internal corrosion, coupled with “A scan” ultrasonic monitoring of corrosion growth, provides a cost effective accurate system for the determination of piping integrity.

The user-friendly display unit menu guided with just a few buttons use bar graphs to identify and locate remote internal defects. Acoustic or optical alarms indicators can be used as an alternative to the identification and location exercise.
